MAPAPA Show for paintings done from May 2007 and May 2008 River Farm Paint Outs
- Show will hang during the months of July and August 2008.
- Exhibition will hang in historic mansion at River Farm, former property of George Washington and headquarters of the American Horticulture Society
- River Farm will retain 35% of the sale price
- There is room for approximately 40 paintings, so number of paintings allowed for each artist will depend on the total number of artists who participate.
- Artists can replace sold paintings throughout the show.
- Paintings need to be labeled on the front and back with the title of the work, price and artist’s name.

- June 2 - Due date for application/artist contract (Click here for form on Prospectus to indicate intent to participate in the show.)

- July 1 or 2 - Participating artists hang the show on filaments.
- August 25 or 26 Participating artists take down the show.

What is Needed:

A coordinator who will collect information on the participants and speak with River Farm to confirm last minute details

A group to hang and take down the show

Someone to write a short story for the Alexandria Times (River Farm will send a notice to the Gazette.)

Participating artists determine if they want to host a reception
